Current proposed changes to the Resource Management system threatens to undermine the protective effect of the Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area.
Who in the Heritage Area wants a rates increase?
Council is currently consulting on whether or not small rural landowners should pay more rates and large rural landowners pay less. I suspect the answer out west will be an emphatic no.
